Mom had a kit to decorate a big heart cookie. She made a chocolate chip heart cookie and then Mom, Danielle and I decorated it – for Zachary, of course…….

I have the sweetest life. Here is Zachary going to visit Great Grandma and Great Grandpa, picking up pine cone gifts for them along the way – only one pine cone made it so he gave it to Great Grandma to make her feel better after her hip replacement (ouch!!!). He then helped Great Grandpa snap green beans (not so much really – he just wanted to taste them and did not enjoy raw green beans like his daddy used to). Mommy then got him to sleep and got to enjoy snuggling with him. Life is sweet……..

Happy Mother’s Day Mom! Here’s Mom wearing the shawl I crocheted her for Mother’s Day. It is with one strand of Homespun and one strand of baby yarn – brown. The pattern is a crocheted feather and fan – very nice pattern.

Santa soldier

Dad was in the Army way back when (in the 1950′s). Keith found this Santa soldier at Hobby Lobby and I had to get it for Dad. I knitted matching camo hats for the soldier, Dad and Dad’s great-grandson, Zachary. Dad says it’s his favorite hat I’ve ever knitted for him – fits him the best – yay!!!!

I had a bad cold last month. Dad sent over a bowl of turkey soup – it was the best soup I’ve ever had in my life. My dad makes great soup. Thanks Dad!!!!
